For Advent, Sacred Heart 4th graders wanted to serve the population of children that have to spend the night in the hospital around Christmas time. St. Luke's Children's hospital requests kid-friendly pillowcases for their patients, so a team of 8 seamstress volunteers came in to help our 4th graders cut and sew 39 pillowcases to donate. Students had a wonderful time participating in this service project; they learned a thing or two about sewing! We are praying for the children in the hospital this year and are thankful for our helpers for this project.
