Mrs. G's third-grade class just concluded their lessons on Life Science and communities/habitats. Each student was tasked with creating a diorama (scene) of a community/habitat of his or her choice. They were encouraged to include different plant and animal species and demonstrate a variety of communities and food chains. Once their diorama was complete, each student presented to their class.
It was a great opportunity for students to use a variety of mediums to create their projects, such as clay, paint, sand, and even Legos! Great job 3rd grade!
