January SLE – Excellence in Academics:  "Of the educational programs available to the Catholic community, Catholic schools afford the fullest and best opportunity to realize the threefold purpose of Christian education among children and young people."   To Teach As Jesus Did, USCC, #101, 1972

Dear Parents,

I want to congratulate our students who made their First Reconciliation this past weekend (and their families)!  It is so wonderful to be a part of the Sacramental preparation and life of our students.  I am grateful for our teachers and families, and am excited for these students to receive First Communion later this spring.  Thank you to all of the priests who were there to hear their confessions!

Registration materials for the 2020/2021 school year are coming home in the family envelopes today...  Yes, it’s that time already!  Be sure to look for them!  If you have any questions, please contact the office.

Men, if you have not already registered for the upcoming Men’s Conference, “Be Not Afraid,” be sure to do so.  You have until tomorrow to get the early bird registration fee… Don’t miss out on the incredible opportunity! Register HERE.

Students and teachers, grades K-8, will be going to Holy Apostles next Friday morning, for the All TVCS Mass.  This Mass includes students from all seven of our Catholic schools here in the Treasure Valley, and is presided over by Bishop Peter Christensen.  We are looking forward to this opportunity to celebrate Mass with our fellow Catholic school students, and to kick off Catholic Schools Week the following week.  Permission slips are going home in today’s family envelopes.

Our school Geography Bee is taking place tomorrow morning at 9:30.  Students in grades 4-8 will be competing for the chance to represent our school in the state geography bee.  Good luck to all of our contestants.

Don’t forget that we have no school on Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

God bless you and have a great weekend!

In Christ,

Brock Carpenter
