October SLE – Appreciation for self, others, and the world:  Let us find it in our hearts, to appreciate all – each person, each soul we contact is a gift from God.

Dear Parents,

Our Jog-R-Walk wrap up assembly was today!  We had so much fun this afternoon, recognizing all of our students’ hard work and successes.  I am so proud of this group of 2019-2020 students!  They did everything we asked them to, and more… We went way beyond our school goal.  Our amazing students raised $40,332!  Incredible, when you think that our goal was $24,000.  This was such a fun event, and the support we have seen from students and families has been phenomenal!  Thank you all for making this our most successful Jog-R-Walk event since I have been at Sacred Heart, and likely ever!

So, next Tuesday, Oct. 22nd, students will get to “color bomb” their principal, Fr. Rob, and their teachers!  We’re asking students to wear their Jog-R-Walk t-shirts for the event.  They can also bring a donation for MOSS, and can wear athletic shorts or sweats. (Please remember no short shorts)

Tomorrow is the end of the First Quarter!  The first two months of school have flown by!  Please remember that tomorrow is a NOON dismissal.

Next Thursday and Friday are Parent Teacher Conferences.  Teachers will be meeting with parents Thursday afternoon and evening, and then again on Friday morning.  You should have received conference times and information in previous communication from the office.  If you have questions, please contact us.

It is Carnival Time!!  I hope to see you all here on Saturday night for the Chili and Soup Dinner, which is an 8th grade fundraiser, followed by the Carnival.  It is going to be a lot of fun, with some new activities and an updated Haunted House!  Be sure to bring your friends and family!  Dinner starts at 5:00 and the Carnival at 6:00.

I pray that you all have a fun and safe weekend!

In Christ,
